Highly recommended for a visit! Breathtaking scenery sounds the craft centre. Beautiful traditional buildings, with modern properties melding perfectly within the location. Designer shops, antique sellers and tool sharpeners are only a few traders to mention within thev craft centre grounds. Courtyard offers elegant beers and edibles with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Personaly, did not have the chance to dine at tea rooms adjacent to hall gardens, however the surrounding grounds are fabulous for walkers of all capabilities dependent on duration. All pathways I discovered were immaculately preserved and truly beneficial towards a brief reconnection to our natural country side. Well worth a visit

It's National Trust. What do you think you will experience? You'll get quality baked goods, average machine coffee, friendly service, robust prices, and extremely long queues on a sunny weekend. It is what it is. Its not my bag but the thousands of silver surfer members can't all be wrong

With the exception of the Brewhouse (which on its own is very good), wine shop and a small women's clothes shop, the place was all closed. Looked as if most shops have actually closed down. A little bit of general maintenance wouldn't go a miss. Apart from specifically visiting the Brewhouse, cannot say we would actually bother returning until the empty units/shops reopen.

Little gem of a café Great variety of cakes cobs and lunches Adapted well during lockdown following covid rules well Delicious breakfast cobs and choice of lunchtime specials You're chips are amazing you don't get brown chips at many cafés Lovely courtyard nearby and lake nearby to sit and enjoy the food and drink.

I can only make useful comments about.the Pierre Hourlier wine shop because that is my reason for the visit. I have bought wines from them for several years now and have always been delighted with my choices and their recommendations. Their enthusiasm, knowledge and expertise is second to none. Long may I live to enjoy the delights.

Super place to visit, it is part of the property of Melbourne Hall. The gardens are open to visit during the spring and summer but check opening times and the fee. The Hall is open during August or other set dates. The craft centre has antiques, wines, furniture restorers violins, tree tops hospice shop a beauty salon and a tea room. There is parking outside near the church or along the road but it can be busy. There is also the Norman church to look around and the Melbourne pool is nearby for walks and feeding the ducks. There is generally an Ice cream van on the corner.

Lovely little place for tea and cake, with some lighter meals should you want lunch. Quite busy, although we found a table and in better weather you could sit outside. The service was quick and efficient. The cakes are excellent, and reasonably priced.

Loved it. Beautiful walk by the water in front of the Hall. We'll worth a visit. Lovely cafe too with great food. Melbourne itself has some lovely little shops. Will certainly go again.
