Had used this company previously. Asked for information . Did not respond, Apologised when prompted and promised to respond but didn’t. May have been a small job for them but to not communicate is unprofessional and arrogant. Won’t consider or recommend them again.

We contracted PB Landscapes to undertake a large design and construction project at our property in Derbyshire. From start to finish Paul Bignall and his team were excellent. They started on time, completed the work to schedule and budget and made a first class job, we are delighted. Furthermore Paul works with a garden designer call Louise Hardwick. Her designs are amazing, she too exceeded our expectations. What a team!

I chose PB Landscapes because they have a good reputation locally, and they did not disappoint. Their work is of a very high standard and we are delighted with our new patio and paving. Paul is clearly very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the pros and cons of different options to me. His team worked extremely hard, completed the work quickly and efficiently, cleaned up afterwards and were pleasant to have around. When a potential issue with our drains was uncovered, Paul sorted it out and gave me lots of helpful advice, whereas I suspect a less professional operator would have just paved over the problem. I would not hesitate to recommend PB Landscapes and would happily use them again.

Paul and his colleagues did an excellent job building my patio. As it was a complex multilevel job Paul recommended using the services of a Landscape Designer - advice gratefully received and acted upon. Paul stayed within budget and (weather permitting) schedule. Any necessary design changes whether instigated by Paul or myself were fully discussed, agreed and implemented at no extra cost. I found Paul to be diligent, professional and easy to get along with providing he got his daily fix of J2O's. I would definitely use him again if I need another patio (although I expect this one to last for a very long time!) and have no hesitation recommending him.

I first contacted Paul from PB Landscapes as we were in urgent need of assistance with our garden. Our previous landscape gardener had made a right mess of things and left us with a bomb site. Paul was professional and helpful from the start. He explained exactly what we needed to do to sort things out and helped us select materials that were suitable for long term use within a family garden. Both Paul and his team delivered a garden well beyond our expectations, they are fantastic landscape garden contractors and work continuously until the job is done. I could not recommend them highly enough.

We required work to our garden including a large retaining wall for an extended patio and steps leading down to the lawn. When we were hugely let down by a previous contractor who had made an unsafe attempt at the work, we sought the advice of Paul, who was happy to speak to us on the phone even initially on a bank holiday evening! He came to inspect the work and offered advice on how he could make it right and fit us into his schedule as soon as he could as he was aware that we had been left in a mess. He also really helped us with getting the paving right, going above and beyond to rectify problems left by the previous contractor. Paul and his team relaid on old block paved patio which was a nightmare to clean. Now have lovely dark grey slabs which blend perfectly with the house. Paul was very accommodating and consulted with me every step of the way. Very pleased with end result and would definitely recommend.
