We are now regular visitors to this wonderful establishment. From a chance visit a few months ago it's now a weekly treat.
Nothing could be added to make a visit any better.
Thank you and keep being brilliant. Xxx

How was this pub? It was absolutely awesome. I'm glad I live away from Melbourne otherwise I'd be a lot poorer than I am.
Scotch eggs and pork pies are just epic, the people in the pub are always welcome and give you a hello, and the bar staff are absolutely top notch.
The creme de la creme is that it's owned and run by leatherbritches brewery, so the beer is unreal.
The best news was that they've recently bought their second pub. Hopefully they move towards swad so we have a place to drink as epic as this one

Delightful friendly little micropub. Good selection of hand pulled ales and craft beer. The craft beer was very cold ... took 15 minutes to get the true flavours.

First visit and justust my sort of pub. Lovely environment with attention to detail, friendly landlord, relaxed atmosphere and great beer. Another pub that I wished I lived near.

Great new micro-pub. The Chip & Pin was a hard act to follow, but they’ve done an excellent job at improving it with a couple of extra snug rooms and made space for a good size bar (hand crafted by the friendly landlord).
Good selection of great beers from their local brewery plus ciders and a variety of other drinks. Friendly atmosphere.
Definitely worth a visit.

Brilliant place 👌🏻. Thought the chip was good but now it's Excellent! Nice friendly people. Beers & crisps tasted 😋 , shame they had no scotch eggs in stock 🤦🏼♀️ cos I reckon the beer would have tasted even better with them lol. Good work guys 👏🏻. Highly recommended!!!

Visited the Bank of Beer tonight for the first time and asked for a gluten free beer but the barman had no idea which beers contained gluten or indeed if they even stocked such a beer. Had to opt for cider instead, so we then went down the road to The Spirit Vaults where they had a choice of gluten free beers available.
We have been drinking at the Chip and Pin pub since it first opened and thought that the newly renovated Bank of Beers would cater for all, but sadly this is not the case. We will not be returning.

I feel it’s worth mentioning to potential punters that this pub’s licence does not allow children under 18. We tried to call in for a beer as part of a walk one Saturday, very early afternoon (me, the wife and 10-month-old son) and we were unfortunately turned away. The man behind the bar (possibly the licensee) was obviously very sorry to have to do this but it was a shame we couldn’t enjoy a pint for whatever reason the law stipulates. We instead walked over to The Brewhouse (near to Stable Ales) and had a drink there. Again – no detriment to the pub or its staff, but others may want to note this.
